After the successful first official OnGuard User Group UK Meeting in September, the second meeting took place last Thursday. One of the topics of this meeting was reporting with OnGuard. The members of the User Group came together at Alcontrol Laboratories in Chester.
On Thursday 18 November the second OnGuard User Group UK Meeting was held. Companies present were: Sita, Speedy, Bohler-Uddeholm, Euromaster and EDF Energy . This meeting started with introductions and a review of the user group ground rules. Natascha Umans, Senior Account manager/Business Development at OnGuard, presented all of OnGuard options regarding reporting & management information. Also the OnGuard Dashboard and Analysis tools were presented.
The OnGuard presentation was followed by the host of this meeting, Tony McCormick. After a short introduction about the company Alcontrol Laboratories, he gave an overview of the way Alcontrol uses the OnGuard software. He demonstrated that they have a pro-active policy and try to contact the customers before expiry date. He also showed the way of reporting in Excel, Natascha explained that it would be possible to automate this in OnGuard with a bespoke report.
Finally they focused on the wish lists. For the next meeting all the members are asked to identify two key issues, which can be used for discussion at future meetings. After this official meeting, the conversations continued with a few of the members at a restaurant in Chester.
